With a bit of help from Disketch you will be able to create custom labels for all the discs in your collection. The application can be used to create CD, DVD, or Blu-ray labels that contain text as well as images.

Disketch is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system. The application provides support for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. Installing Disketch on a Windows PC takes little time and effort.
Disketch is also available for Apple’s Mac OS X. The application provides support for all OS X versions from OS X 10.3 Panther onwards. Getting Disketch up and running on a Mac takes little time and effort as well.

Launch Disketch and you will be presented with a Welcome prompt that asks you what you want to do: create a new project, open an existing project file, or read the Getting Started guide. If you choose to create a new project, you will be presented with a prompt that invites you to select a label layout. After you select a layout you will be presented with Disketch’s interface – a very easy to navigate interface.

From this easy to navigate interface you will be able to access the following functionality: add custom text to the label; add album title, track list, or artist name to the label; add images to the label; arrange the label elements as you see fit; save the project and work on it later; export the label as an image or as a PDF; print out the label.

Disketch is free for non-commercial, home use only.

Thanks to Disketch you can very easily create custom labels for the CDs and DVDs in your collection.

Pros

Disketch is available for Windows and Mac OS X. Disketch’s interface is easy to navigate. Lots of label layouts to choose from; lots of options to edit the label you’re working on. Save the label as a project, export it as a PDF or image, print out the label. Disketch is free for non-commercial, home use.

Cons

It offers to install additional software, software that is not required for Disketch to function.
